DCRP Review: Minolta DiMAGE A1
by Jeff Keller, DCRP Founder/Editor
Last Updated: December 10, 2003

You read our review of this camera, right?

The photographs below were taken at default settings, with the ISO fixed at 100. The image quality and resolution were at their highest levels.

Photos 1-3 were taken at Stanford. The weather wasn't the greatest on this day.

Photos 4-8 are from Crissy Field.

Photos 9-14 were taken in my new hometown of Brentwood, CA.

Photos 15-16 were taken in my new house!

Clicking on the thumbnail will display a reduced, 800 x 600 image. Clicking on the link below that will show the full-size (large!) image. Please do not judge the photo quality from any image except for the full-size image, as these smaller images were recompressed when they were downsized.

I've noted any special modes I used underneath the photo. You can click on "View EXIF data" to get additional information about each photo.

I was dumb and took this and the next shot at the wrong resolution (one notch down from the highest).

Believe me, I watched out. I hate snakes.

Fairly noisy flash shot taken at Auto ISO. And I have no idea how those Krispy Kremes got there.
