    If you mean speed... then 3 frames per second, until the buffer is full. The number of frames the buffer will hold depends on the resolution and quality settings.

    Opps, I meant how many frames is tested to last 10,000; 100,000; 1,000,000 (like an F5)?

    I'm sure its in the range of 100,000 - but before I pick one up second hand, I want know how many frames is too many.

    Yup, my guess would be in the same range as Nikon film dSLR's. For specific information you need to contact Nikon. AND, let us know what they say.
