    D70 and older Nikon lenses

I have been a Nikon owner for many years and currently own an FE and 6006. I also own a collection of Nikon lenses:
    1. AF Nikkor 35-70mm (3.3-4.5)
    2. AF Nikkor 70-300mm (4-5.6) ED
    3. Micro Nikkor 55mm (2.8)
    4. Nikkor 24mm (2.8)
    5. Nikon Series E 75-150mm (3.5)
    6. Nikon Series E 50 (1.8)

I am considering the purchase of a D70 body and was wondering how compatible my existing set of lenses would be with it. I have seen several compatibility charts but I'm not completely confident in my interpretation and mapping of the charts to my particular lenses. Any help & suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hope this helps...

    Hey,

Heres what should happen with these lenses, if I make a mistake someone please point it out-

    1. Will work perfectly
    2. Will work perfectly
    3. Will work perfectly
    4. If it is the AF version, it will work perfectly
    5. Should work(Sorry, I'm not exactly sure about the series E on a nikon dSLR)
    6. Should work(Ditto)

I hope it helps a little, and I'm sorry that it is not complete.

Just for clarification, the only lenses which are AF are the two marked as such.
    Thanks.

The lenses which are not listed as AF will only work on the D70 in full manual mode.

    Ray.
And the metering won't work either so it'll be guesstimated exposures only.

    thanks

Thanks for everyone's help. One "penultimate" question, it's curious that I can find the the D70 body onsale online for as little at $450 and as much as $900. Any comments about this observation. Finally, is the D70s worth considering, does it improve upon the D70 significantly?

    Thanks,
    Phil

It is highly likely that a $450 deal will mean losing your money to a con artist. Check with Amazon for a fairly mediocre price.
