Difference between Nikon F Mount & AFS lens

Sorry I am bit new to this , I am looking for buying a new NIKON DSLR D5300 but I have come across two different types. One which says lens fitting as F Mount and the other says Nikon AFS. Which one of them I need to go for and what is difference between them.

If you take your questions to Nikon DSLR/ILC forums you will get a quicker answer.

Basically all Nikon lenses for the past 50 years are "F-mount". AF-S lenses are F-mount as well, but use a "silent" autofocus motor. i.e. Auto Focus-Silent wave (AF-S), versus older mechanical drive Auto Focus (AF) systems. All will mount fine to any Nikon SLR or DSLR camera.

    Hope this helps.
