    PowerShot a4000 IS question

I bought one for school, but I cannot figure out how to get it out of auto mode. I looked at the manual and I keep doing what it says to do (press the up arrow repeatedly), but it just cycles between Auto and iFrame movie. I'm supposed to press the up arrow until it says Live view, then go from there.

The up arrow (or mode button) cycles between Auto and the shooting mode previously selected in the menu. I-frame movie has already been selected, so you are cycling between the two. When i-frame movie is showing, use the left or right arrows to select other shooting modes. Simple as that!
