    s700 wide angle lens use

For the s700 series, how would one set the camera to 'full wide angle mode to avoid vingetting' (the appearance of dark areas in the corners like an old fashioned photograph)? I am new to the forum. Cant use hotmail? WOW! Anyway, thank you for any information that you can come by.

I'm afraid there is no setting to avoid vignetting on wide. An external flash, if you can fit one to S700, will help eliminating it. Otherwise you will have to zoom out of that vignetting area.
