Scanning medium format film
Hello
I'm considering pulling out my father's Rollei twin lens and giving it a try.
Will need to buy a scanner, looking at the Epson V500 and the Canon 8800F, but I still need to do some research.
My question is; has anyone tried to scan Med. format film negatives? How is the image quality as say compared to the darkroom method (prints)?
Of course I understand the quality of the scanner will mean alot, but consider the models I've listed above.
Any help would be appreciated.

You get pretty decent results with even cheap flatbeds. You don't need a devoted film scanner as the quality is only incrementally better and the price much higher.
Medium format or 35mm, it's all the same (as long as the scanner takes it).
