    Olympus 850 SW

I came across a demo model the other day marked down to a ridiculously low price and bought it. I've been looking for another pocket camera. In film days my trusty XA went with me everywhere (and before that, a Rollei 35). I had a Sony T5 for a bit, nice but not rugged. It's a fine camera for snaps and low res web shots. That I can take it out in miserable weather and locations I'd rather not risk a dSLR is a bonus. Pictures don't always happen in perfect situations.

I just ordered one for my husband for Christmas. We want it just for those same reasons. I hope the pictures are nice. I think it should be ok since we plan mainly to use it at water parks, pool, beach and in the snow!

For a subcompact, the pictures are quite nice. I find Program mode and setting the ISO manually works best for top quality. It's a great worry free camera.
