New Casio EX-FH20 high speed camera

    http://www.casio-europe.com/euro/news/article/1197/

Compact and bridge cameras have one big disadvantage over DSLRs - speed. Casio's own EX-F1 was the first bridge camera to equal or even exceed DSLRs in many speed categories. But the high price tag didn't make it popular - you could buy a budget DSLR + a decent lens for that money.

Now Casio announced EX-FH20, which is less faster, but at ~$600 is also a lot cheaper than EX-F1. 40fps continuous shooting is more than enough for most of us, so let's hope that FH20 will deliver satisfying results in image quality.

And Casio says that they have more high speed models coming!

It's interesting but has a smaller sensor than F1 does and 1 more MP so I expect more noise and reduced image quality. It's another 20x zoom like Fuji S8100, Nikon P80, Oly SP570, and Pan FZ20. Those others cost less.

    Anyone got this yet

I've been following this and the ex-f1 since their respective releases. I'm looking forward to buying this camera and I hope it will capture some quailty experiences.

The most in depth review i have found is here.
