    I think they are some great shots too. Wildlife can be very uncooperative. And a little software enhancement is just fine anytime, IMO.

    I love the pelican especially; he "appears" to have great personality.

    Sean / Panda Bear, thanks for your comments. BTW, that weird looking bird is known as Shoebill and they build solitary nests on thick mats of floating vegetation. With their bills, they scoop up water and pour it over their eggs and chicks to keep them from overheating.

    Frank, thanks also for bringing some 'life' to that Cassowary, a dinosaur descendant. It sure look much better than my original after a little adjustments

    So, the 70-300 is not a bad lens after all. Pardon me for those amateur shots as I'm only into DSLR photography a month ago and I'm learning new things here everyday. Love this forum
