    PrimeFilm 3600u Film & Slide Scanner

    What do you good folks know about this scanner:

    It's on sale at Costco and I'm thinking about getting one and wondering if anyone lnows much about this brand.

    I think you'll get what you pay for which isn't much. That dynamic range really & truly sucks.

    I have no experience with the brand or the scanner but the spec sheet looks bad.

    To reference dragons in your sig are you a D&D player by any chance?

    Not D&D. The Dragon is "The Tail of the Dragon" at Deal's Gap, NC. US Hwy 129 is a VERY twisty road, 300+ turns in 11 miles, and it is "Motorcycle Heaven". I ride a Triumph T100, when my back allows, and I must ride the Dragon at least once before I get to live in my little pine box.

    Thanks for the explanation, a great name for the road. There seam to be a lot of bikers on this forum. Never been game enough myself, too fearfull of that pine box.

    Lotsa things happen on the road that you can't control. But you do control your right wrist. That's what gets a lot of people in trouble.
