    DIY: Home Depot Beauty Dish

    For those that do off-camera flash I've combined a few tutorials on DIY beauty dishes learned over at the strobist group on flickr and made my own version. Here is a link to my post listing the parts and what it looks like:

    Its really made for portraits not product photography - but I like the quality of light and how even it is:

    andy how will this work with only using he cam as commander ? looks like the IR will be obstructed which means poket wizards right ?

    That is really nice. Im thinking I will end up making one as well. Can you post a picture of the 8" reflector front side with the mirror. It says it only has a 3" mirror on it. Is that enough? If you have a picture that would be great!
