    portrait lense??

    I have a konica minolta 5d what is the best portrait lense i can get and the cheapest place to buy?? 85mm 1.8 or 5mm 1.4?? any cheaper brands that are ok??

    You could take a look at the TAMRON SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di MACRO (<- click here) which provides a very sharp looking portrait, as well as serious MACRO capability.

    It will also work well on 35-mm film cameras, as an alternative.
