    Sunset over Cochabamba

This image was captured with my new Z712IS from the top of my hotel in Cochabamba Bolivia in mid December 2007.

This is my 1st digital camera and I am really enjoying the many benefits
    of the digital world.

    Snow.net

I set the ISO to 64 for the 1st time (no more autoISO) and used a tripod. Next time I'll shoot in Aperture priority to control DOF. This image is a trampoline net that has collected some large, dry snowflakes after a storm last night. The absence of wind permitted some interesting results. Seeing individual snowflakes is fun.

The cool thing about digital is getting to play with the image through cropping, resizing, .... Any recommendations for software that does even more than Windows Picture and Fax viewer? Does the Kodak software that comes with the camera provide much functionality?

    B&W version

I played with the Kodak Easyshare SW last night and discovered how to turn color images into B&W. I think this version is more interesting. Comments?

Nice sharp shot. Photos of instruments with a brass finish always seem to sparkle and have that extra pop.
