    Canon 18-55 f3.5-5.6 vs. Sigma 18-50 f2.8 EX DC

Shot with an EOS 400D hand held, with ISO 200 in RAW, processed with DPP 3.0.
So not a totally reliable test concerning focussing, but good enough to give an impression.
First both at 18mm, at f3.5 and f8. Then 35mm will follow, and after that 55/50mm.

First, Canon 18-55, 18mm at f3.5. Not correctly in focus, instead of the white letters the upper corner is in focus.
