that is a good one, liteace.
u have used a bounce flash( i feel from the light on "oscar"'s head at the far side of the pic)?
if it is so, what is flash brand?

myself adding some experiment photos, took them at dead noon @ 42 deg. C in tropical INDIA, where i stay.

the light is so strong sometimes here, that i cannot use asa200 even at f/11@1/1000, it shows OV-exp.

    exif txt file also attached.
the flower pic. is slightly sharpened in irfanview.

bugeyes, good ones of the reptile.

can u update the focal length/exposure/etc, as u have processed the images in adobe and the exif is not attached.

i got a shot of a lizard in my small garden here, these change colours in summer, locally called "girgit",
    also adding some flower pic.

Thanks for this thread. I've decided on the FZ50 after literally months of research (birthday present from two months ago! was waiting for H9 release and decided against it) but was going through last minute second guessing. The fantastic pics on this thread reminded me I had made the right decision.

Maybe someday I'll have some FZ50 pics good enough to post here...

thanks for ur appreciation. the photos that can be taken with this cam are actually even bettr than what is here, as most people would not right away put up their work on , ( there would alway be some hope of doing some prof. work)

but remember that the instrument is only half of the pic., or even less!
u urself are the creator of the pic.
as a first step see the view in front with one eye closed!!,
why?? the cam also has only one lens!!
the FZ 50 is a very good instrument. only remeber it will
produce some noise in pics. at low light (evening, night) as it is a small sensor cam.
