Tamron SP AF200~500mm f/5-6.3 Di LD (IF)

I have to tell you... this is one heck of a lens.

Shooting it against the Canon EF 70~200mm f/2.8 IS USM, this puppy is dead sharp.

I even threw the TAmROn SP1.4x T/C on it... just to see if I'd lose AF at the highend... it hunts a little, but it still nails it. I don't know whether to applaude the glass or the 20D. One or the other is doing some marvelous work.

100% crop of lens with TAmROn SP1.4x T/C added (handheld, no less) @ effectively f/8 and autofocused.

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.
