Hmm...

As a Rebel XT owner, I was hoping you would be a little more down on the Nikon. Oh well, prices will surely drop on all the models, which is good for all who will buy soon. I did notice one thing:

" ...Which Jeff fixed... "

I also noticed that there is no mention on the D70's and D70s's moire issue in the D50's review. There is no trace of moire in the D50's photo gallery, either. Does this mean that moire is not an issue on the D50?

more than likely he didn't want to beat a dead horse. Nikon doesn't use AA filters, so moire will be visible in certain situations.

Actually I mentioned it at the end of the image quality discussion... it's brief so you may have missed it.

Hmm...

"I should mention that the EN-EL3a can be used in the D50 and you'll get about 25% battery life by doing so."

Since the EN-EL3a is a higher capacity battery, I would have expected rather a 25% HIGHER battery life.

I noticed the same thing. I think he meant to say that you should get 25% MORE battery life with the EN-EL3a
