Hello All,

Believe me when I tell you I am really new to this digital camera world. Afetr much research, I bought the Canon A 95. As you all know, it came with a 32MB CF card and obviously I need more. I know what size card I want...a 256 MB card. What I need to know is with all that I read about read/write speeds of different cards and what actually matters is a combination of what the camera can do with a specified speed card... I AM TOTALLY CONFUSED!! I need a decent card that could capture pictures at a decent speed and transfers those photos to the PC at a decent speed. To make things simple...I've decided to go with popular name brands and am going to limit myslef to SANDISK, LEXAR AND SIMPLETECH. With Sandisk having the standard (slow), ULTRA and EXTREME and Lexar with diff. speeds (4X to 80X).......once again....I AM CONFUSED. PLEASE SUGGEST A GOOD/DECENT CF CARD FOR MY CANON A95.

THANKS A BUNCH.

Never mind the speeds.
The bottle neck with any card when transfering to computer will be the USB 1.1 standard of your camera.
Movie size and burst capability are limited regardles of card speed.
Get a 512mb standard card and you'll do just fine :)

What Mat said ... the standard speeds are what you need.
