I have a 7i and am buying an A200. I see an ACT100 (tele 1.5) listed buy Minolta for the A200. I also know that Raynox has both a DCR 2020PRO and a DCR1540PRO. Will each of these work on either camera? Is one better that the other and is the DCR2020PRO too much for these cameras?

The A200 has a 49mm thread so if the lenses are 49 mm, they will fit. If they are not 49mm, you will need a step ring in between (I am getting a 49-62 mm step ring so I can mount my Nikon 6T close-up lens). Note that you will have to pay attention to the possibility of vignetting if the adapter and lens do not match the A200 properly. Vignetting is when the corners of your images are blacked out because the lens is in the way. This may only occur if the lens is smaller than needed but check the specs. I presume my closeup lens will work okay because it's so much larger, but I may be wrong.
I also do not intend to get a telephpoto lens adapter because the A200, having 8 MP, can effectively zoom in much more than 7x allowed by the lens. 8 MP allows you to zoom in to your image by cropping (or using digital zoom when taking the shot). I get the same shots (more or less) as the 12x zoom on other cameras.
