Camera? Settings? Pretty cool pic.

My last time in NYC? 9/9/01. Gotta get back. I really love this place. ;)

see original post edited for settings George.

that's quite a momentus last time in NYC. where are you from?

I worked on the 95th floor of 1 WTC but left that job approx 5/2000. unfortunately, i had friends who were on those floors on 9/11. anyone there that morning perished. i have memories of morning meetings in the NW corner conference room - unbelievable views of manhattan, the hudson, and beyond - all so sad now. had no interest in photography and no camera then, otherwise would share pics.

Cool capture! A little more depth of field would have brought it out a little more.

i'm such a novice - i have no idea how to accomplish a little more depth of field - any suggestions how? manually set a different f-stop? focus on the blimp rather than the buildings in front? suggestions appreciated. i know i know, i gotta read a book one of these days.

To acheive more DOF, you should put your camera in "A" mode, and select a smaller f/stop (a higher f/stop number). Try something closer to f/8.0, and this should give you more DOF. Be careful though, as using the smaller f/stop might cause your shutter speed to increase into "tripod territory", so using your anti-shake will help. Hope all of this helps.
