Sorry, i always forget. I am using a Canon EOS D60 with a Canon 35/80 lens on P setting with a 4-2-1 Macro lens kit. ISO at 100, using a tripod with a remote shutter release. My previous attempts were too shaky in Macro, so i invested in a remote. Seems to work much better. Thanks for the kind words. :)

The bug pictures need more depth of field, however. You've got part of the bug in and part out of focus--that's probably a result of the macro kit on the specific lens you're using. Since you're already using a tripod, I'd try upping the f-stop as high as possible, and then accepting whatever shutter speed results.

I agree with the DOF on the bug. Thanks for the input. I will try your advice. I'm also going to be investing in a real Macro lens. Any ideas or suggestions on which one would be best?
