Just getting my feet wet but I'm sure happy with this whole digital revolution. My last camera was a Pentax ME and the developing costs for my kids was more than the diapers.

Just to add to your excellent Iguana photo, here are a few more Iguanas, shot recently in the Galapagos with FZ15/TL-55 (this guy with 1.8X digital zoom thrown in, all the others without DZ):

And a link to ~20 other lizard shots:

Many thanks to EJM for starting and for Sarah and John for cementing the Unofficial Iguana Thread! :)
Here's my entry...Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Taken with film, don't even remember which camera and scanned on the make-you-want-to-rip-your-hair-out HP3300...

Here's my half reptile, half bird...really no clue what the heck it is, but they're all around my apartment :D

They hiss, crest their feathers and bob their heads. Their hissing sounds like heavy breathing. They're real friendly when they find out you have food :D . I think they are Muscovy ducks, but everyone tells me Muscovy only live in central, and south america.

I never quite understood that rule for posting messages. Smart workaround, ReF!

In the meantime - great photos, everyone, but boy those critters are ugly IMHO. Except for the duck. :p

they are Muscovy ducks. There are thousands in the US, primarily raised to eat.

I agree, Muscovy ducks were $5.95/lb at Wholefoods Sunday. They had roasted veggies too. Don't know about plum sauce
