The blue bonnets and indian paintbrush are in bloom here in Texas. Learning the basics of Photoshop Elements. These were taken just before a line of thunderstorms went through, the sky was that dark!

Interesting effects - they almost look like paintings.
I like the india paintbrush. The last one particularly looks like you have processed it somehow ~ is that so? Or is ita combination of compression and the original light?

I used a Water Paper filter on the 3rd image, the rest was a combination of using fill flash with available light.

Thanks. Thats exactly what I was trying to do. I have 2 found 2 distinct advantages with my Nikon digital cameras versus my 35mm Nikons . The LCD can be rotated so I can get the camera much lower, changing the perspective of the image. Photoshop Elements gives me tremendous control over the final image. To think of all of the hours I spent in the darkroom to do the same thing! Thanks for the feedback. :)
