This, I took in Lithuania in 2003. I used a Nikon 3100. Not a bad snap actually. What do you think?

Hey Rhys,

Great photo, not bad at all! I've always loved this type of composition. Thanks for posting!

Wow! That's a good one! Really draws your eye into the distance. Would you happen to know what kind of trees they are? :)

It's mixed woodland - pines, firs, spruce, alder, birch etc. I think you can see firs in the foreground.

I took this photo on the Kouronian Spit, just off Klaipeda in Lithuania.

Very nice. Has a look that reminds me of an off-road trip I took through the Manti-LaSal forest in SE Utah.

As I said - the Kouronian Spit in Lithuania. It's a UNESCO world heritage site. Essentially it's a sand finger that runs just offshore along the coast of Lithuania into Kallinningrad.

There are people living on the spit and a bus that travels all the way from Kallinningrad to Klaipeda, crossing on the ferries. The disance to the shore is only 100 yards or therabouts. The spit is only about a mile wide in most places too.

This is a snap of the bus from Kallinningrad to Klaipeda.

Lovely. I like the way the trees draw your attention down the road in the middle.
