this was done around early last year or so, anyhoo i just bought a PowerShot a95 and figuring how i could achieve this kind of photos? This photos were taken on a 3.1 Panasonic Lumix (no idea what model). I have asked my friend and he told me he used night mode. i cant seem to get this kind of warm yellowish colour. Does it have anything to do with tungsten, flourouscent or anything?

btw im a noobie and thats me in the pic \m/ :D thanks in advance for any help.

Not too difficult to get that effect, just turn your flash off in a location where there is plenty of yellow tungsten lighting. The camera shake will take care of the rest...Although it should be mentioned that these are the types of images that most photographers do their best to avoid  !

Unless you are going for some artistic effect (the first photo could be interpreted as using some special effect), it's always best in 99% of cases just to produce a very crisp, detailed photo and one with no specific color cast. Once you get that down, then you can do fancy things with composition, background/foreground blurring, etc.
