Finally got to put the 5D to a little use. Went on a 4 day driving trip. Unfortunately, most of the time it was drizzling rain and/or foggy. Learned to balance camera, tripod, and umbrella on some of these.

C&C if you feel like.

Thank you, a couple of my favorites as well

Appreciate that Obi. There's no telling how many shots we had to pass up simply because it was raining too hard or you just couldn't see crap with the fog. We almost missed the cabin.

Thank you, I wish I had bracketed that shot, but didn't.

Great stuff! The foggy cabin wins it for me too.
Thanks, glad you like it.

Much appreciated.

Thank you, glad you like them. I've gotta get back to the Glade Creek Mill sometime when it is not so overcast/rainy and the trees are more colorful. I've seen some fantastic shots taken in the fall when the leaves turn.

Thanks for all the nice comments. This trip was definitely a challenge with the weather not co-operating at all.

I like #5. It has a glowy look to it, did you do that in PP? That's the kind of shot that I used try to do all the time. Mine sucked, so I gave up, and now I'm wanting to get back into it. Bringing interest to something not inherently very interesting is a challenge. You do it well.

That shot is a 3 shot hdr processed in Photomatix. Only other post was a slight curves adjustment and sharpened. Never give up, keep trying & shooting. Thanks for the nice compliment.

Appreciate that Michael. I have trouble getting HDR shots that I'm satisfied with, but I really like the way it turned out. Still love the 20D with the 10-22 on it!
