The wife and I went out for dinner tonight at one of our local eatery's and in the entrance way they usually have current issues of "Bride & Groom" magazine on a rack for the taking. I usually pick these up every once in a while to browse through to see what other photographers are doing and made a comment to the wife, "I wonder if there might be an ad in this issue for a guy I know from a forum I'm a member of."
Well holy crap, no ad found, but rather an article of two pages about a couples wedding which features some of Mr. Wexler's fine artistic imagery with credits in the sidebar.

A round of applause for our forum celebrity !!! (sound of clapping hands)

I do have a scan of one of the pages. I'll post it here if Jamie gives the OK.

Jamie,
Funny story about the Zukas Hilltop Barn..... When my daughter was scoping out places for her wedding a couple of years ago, my wife and I stopped at the Zukas Hilltop Barn on the way back from a visit to Harrington Farm up in Princeton, MA. There was a reception going on at the time when we stopped which lent itself to getting a better idea of what the facilities was like. I got the bright idea, since I had my camera with me, to grab a few pictures to show my daughter who hadn't come with us. My wife says I got a little out of hand, as we spent a better part of an hour there with me snapping pictures. I got shots inside, outside, some shots of the couple in the horse drawn wagon. Nobody even asked who I was. Damn that was fun!!! Brings a whole different meaning to crashing a wedding :D

I should mention the magazine is free (paid for by ads I suspect) and this one is primarily targeted to Central New England.

This is a link to the magazine. Unfortunately there's no way to browse through it.

Awwwwww shucks, everyone.

It is pretty exciting, since it's my first time with a full color spread in a magazine! I wish they'd chosen more of my favorite images instead of the dull details, though!

LOL, on crashing the wedding, Mark! Did you "sample" the food too?

The food looked good, but I did restrain myself.

Do you mind if I post the copy of the magazine page with your images and the credits? Wasn't sure if there may be a problem of copyright with the magazine, although they'd probably never notice it here.

They did pick some rather tame pictures to print considering the quality Jamie puts out.

i completely agree nick.

i'm surprised they left that top right hand part of the page blank. seems like that woulda been a perfect place for that big detail shot on the bottom right...then they coulda put something with people in it in the bottom right.

Photo editors, right?!

I didn't get much choice in the overall selection of photos in the magazine. The bride submitted a bunch, and I think the magazine selected the ones they liked.

But, honestly, I was just flattered to be in the magazine!

Here are my faves from the wedding: http://jamisonwexler.com/blog/jamisonwexler.com/blog/caroline-justin-june-21-2008/
