you wouldn't BELIEVE what i went through to get this camera. i'm tempted to keep the 30mm. this is crazy wide on the 5d II.

one more ISO 6400 on the 85mm f/1.8 @ f/2 1/1600s
full image and 100% crop. lightroom processed, everything default except luminance noise reduction at 50.

i know, i swear i was about to pull my hair out. i'll post up the story for everyone else sometime later. i just got done updating the firmware to the newest version. i have a lot of things to play with on this camera. it's overwhelming. when the ups guy delivered it first i opened up the package and looked at the memory cards that were included...then i was like "what am i doing? look at the camera." haha. so far it's everything i knew it would be. i have more tests to do, but i'm pretty happy. just did a low low light test on the focus and its better than i expected. of course, it was a contrasty object, i guess people will be the real test. good thing i have 2 FREAKIN WEDDINGS to shoot tomorrow haha. 28gigs of extreme III and 48gigs between my 3 16gb cheapo kingston and transcend cards which aren't that bad at all. definitely slower than the extreme III's but definitely fast enough for wedding use. i'm about to play with movie mode for the hell of it!!! peace off.
