Tamron SP AF 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) (http://www.tamron.com/lenses/prod/1024_diII.asp)

Seems like a good range for those who think they can't get enough "zoom" out of their WA...didn't do any research on IQ yet.

This is a great focal length. I use a 12-24 a lot, and 2 less mm at the wide end would be gravy.

I mentioned this one on the other wa thread,
taking preorders here at $499. Looks like a useful range to me. http://www.adorama.com/TM1024MAX.html?searchinfo=tamron%2010-24&item_no=3

If the IQ is better than their 11-18, I may be interested. But if it's not, forget it.

The focal length range is definitely good... I am in the mid 20's for focal length all the time and would be able to use this as a walkaround / travel lens (unlike the 11-16, for example, or even the 10-20).

This lens is said to have significant promise. I guess we shall see... ;)

Hmm wonder how it does against the sigma 10-20.

Don't get me wrong...I'd still pick the Tokina 11-16 as my Super-Wide, but this is more for those who think that is too short.
