This weekend, I had a shoot with Liz at the Garage Studio. She was a very fun model to work with and turned out some pretty nice photos...

Liz is 18 and was looking to expand her portfolio with some headshots to show her beautiful face...

I don't think I have to say how much fun I had :D

If there was a single picture I came out with that showed Liz's personality, it was one of the last one taken of the day...

For this shoot, I used the 70-300vr almost exclusively. I put the 50mm lens on just one or two times for a few shots, and the Sigma 18-50 for the last few to get the distortion.

As always, more on my flickr site (http://www.flickr.com/swgod98) as I process them. I'll leave you with my favorite photo of the day...Hope you enjoy :)

Number 1 is just rediculous, just awesome work.
I am too old to understand the whole two finger point thing:)

I was thinking about making the same comment. :D
When I was young the "Cowboys" did that and the "Indians" made bow and arrow movements. :D

Methinks it's gangsta.

I'm not entirely sure what the finger pointing thing is either...but I wasn't about to pass up the shots :)

Ya, I like to make the eyes pop a little. She was wearing colored contacts that day and in the closer headshots I could totally zoom in (100% miind you) and see the digital pattern :D In shot #1, the lights were nice and bright, so her eyes were already colorful. I added some extra contrast and brightened them a little.

I guess it's just my thing :)

I like the eyes, they drew me right in. Though they do look like something out of a possession movie. Maybe back them off just a tad, lol.

That said, the make-up on them SUCKS. Gawd.

Still mad at swgod98... Especially since I currently have no camera to retort with...

That said... I love the shots from this shoot.

Ah, now it is working for me.

The first one is awesome, as is the second. (I don't like her make up in the next three, but the photography is great.)

Hey Fiasco, why you mad at me? I thought there was a general concensus that we would all hate on Rooz ;)

Though they do look like something out of a possession movie.

That was the intention...I was trying to show this girls true self! haha :)

Thanks for the comments everyone.
