Goodmorning, Afternoon, Evening (take your pic) everyone. This weekend we had a great shoot. Briana showed up early, she was our makeup artist for the day (but, as you'll see later, she turned out to be a hidden gem).

Corrie just started to get into modeling, but didn't seem to have any problems on the set...

She actually brought a Packers outfit as well, I just about died when she came out with it, because I JUST bought a yellow background out of the blue the day prior (Sat). It worked out perfectly, and it REALLY made things POP...

In between Corrie and Elizabeth, our makeup artist (Briana) decided she wanted to test her modeling ability. She was pretty funny, asking questions like: Ok where do I put my right foot? And my left? How does my face look? haha. She was such a crackup. But, we got some really good shots of her IMO...

Elizabeth was second (and last) on our list for the day. It was a long day :\ She drove down from the valley, about an hour and a half! I was quite flattered she'd do that...anyone for that matter...It means she's serious and (I hope) likes our work.

Everyone had a great time, but man was I shot by the end of the day. 8am till 4pm. Well worth it, though! I'm still editing photos, so if you're interested in seeing more from the sets, you can see them on my flickr account.

Thanks.

Oh, a few last comments. I used a D300 and switched between my 50mm f1.4 (for full body and 1/2 body shots) and my 70-300vr for 1/2 body up to portrait closeups.

I actually used my Sigma 18-50 for a few when I wanted to try a little wider angle, but I don't think I like any of those shots (as much).

All shots were @ f11 ISO200. My buddy uses Canon, so we set the lights for f8 ISO100. Shutter is typically 1/200.

Here's a shot of the Garage Studio, while my buddy takes some shots of Corrie...

Looking good swgod, great work. That yellow background really does make things pop. Your makeup artist has really nice and white teeth.

Thanks guys. It was a fun day. I was SO glad I bought that yellow. I was debating on it too, thinking yellow is such a powerful/bright color. But, it turned out perfect...perfect for Corrie's GB outfit and perfect for Briana's portrait!

Lovelly work. The effort you put in with your lighting, fan, backgrounds, outfits and poses etc has really paid dividends and made your photos something special.

Briana really engages the camera, she's a treasure.

lol, I think they'd both be flattered to know they're loved :D I posted a few more tonight. Mostly Corrie and Elizabeth.

I don't know if I should be putting NWS notices, but some are close to that line...
