Okay ... this has been vindication week, if ever there was one.

As secretive as SONY has been in releasing details and even the new set of "triplets" it cut loose with, this month ... I've been keep my own "Schindler's list" of offenders who said that an entry-level SONY was needed ... and not the α100.

Time to pay the piper, pals. Obviously, SONY has a "Live View" system unlike any of the others. That was such a big deal, as I recall, three months ago. Well, things have changed. Now, everyone has something new to play with ...

Enjoy your new SONY DSLR. You now have your pick of three intro-level cameras:

α200 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . α300 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . α350

Get one and start enjoying photography ... riding the "new" wave. Let Canikon go. You know that you want to. Trust your feelings. If you only knew the power of ... in-the-body-antishake ... you wouldn't feel so ... rattled. :D

What part of "more keepers" are you having trouble understanding?

Currently ... it looks like the α200 is the only available intro-DSLR from SONY, at the moment. The α100 had been discontinued.

The α350 looks like the end of February and the α300 in April.

Still, a lot of older Minolta-glass out there, for these cameras. You can save quite a bit on PRIME lenses ... and get started. ;)
