Some of you may know that i recently bought a 55-200 VR to replace my very unused tamron 70-300. I put the tamron on the trading post and after a number of weeks i got a call asking about the lens. He said that he would call back the next day, it never happened. Then a few days later I get another call asking about the lens. He lives near my area so we arranged to meet at 8:30am today, and that he would call me to get my address first. He never called until 11:30am saying that he was busy and couldn't make it until 4:30pm. He didn't show up and didn't call until 6pm to say that he could come at 7:30pm. He didn't come until 8:30pm tonight. And when he opens the box to take a look at it i realise that i hadn't taken off my UV filter off the lens. He asks about it and wants me to sell it with it but I didn't want to. In the end he gives me a reasonable price of $135 including the UV filter. I have a second UV filter of the same size so it didn't bother me that much. I bought the lens for $150 a year ago brand new, and it retails for $250. So after having to wait all day and feeling like i'd been given the run around I finally sold it tonight. There's my rant, sorry for that but I just needed to share my frustration regarding some buyers.

Actually that's $135 towards the $318 I paid for the 55-200 VR. So the 55-200VR was a very cheap lens in the end for me.
