using casio exilim ex-z75 in europe

I am going to Europe next week with my school to Paris and Rome. I have a Casio Exilim EX-Z75 and I need to know if i can use the charger there. I have heard that many power converters are to powerful and cause malfunction. The converter i have says it is for use on items up to 50 watts and it also says it can be used with rechargeble battery packs. The charger says INPUT: AC100-240V 50-60Hz 80mA. Does anyone know if this will work? Any help with be greatly appreciated.

European mains power is standardised at 230V 50Hz, so electrically your charger should be fine. Make sure you have the right plug adapters to fit the wall sockets - there's a bit more variation in those.
