Standard = 3x-4x

* How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)
I would like to have very good image quality.Probably 8-10

Do you care for manual controls?
Not much

General Usage

* What will you generally use the camera for?
Point and shoot.Mainly for shooting some pics with friends outdoor as well as indoor

* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
No

Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?
Yes.I will be taking pics during parties.Infact i would like the camera to perform better DIM light conditions.

Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?
Nope

Nope

Are there particular models you already have in mind?
I read about fuji finepix z1.but just wanted ask you guys before going for it.

A gently used Canon powershot might work for you and be in that price range.

Check ebay.

My oldest camera is a SD110 and it still takes great pics even thought it's been dropped at parties, kicked around a dance club floor, and generally abused for the past 5 years as my beater camera.
