* What budget have you allocated for buying this camera? Please be as specific as possible.
Its a graduation gift so probally up to $2000-$3000

* What size camera are you looking for? Or does size not matter at all to you? doesnt matter


How many megapixels will suffice for you?
I am not sure but I am going to school for digital photography and all tha cameras listed are 10 mega pixels

* What optical zoom will you need? (None, Standard = 3x-4x, Ultrazoom = 10x-12x, Other - Specify)

* How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)

* What will you generally use the camera for?
Everything, school projects,friends,for work,everything and anything
* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
Hopefully....i might want some bigger then the standard 8x10 ....large foramt pictures
Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?
Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?

Are there particular brands you like or hate?
i like nikon and cannon
Are there particular models you already have in mind?
Cannon Rebel XTi (10.1mp) Kit with Ef-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS lens
Cannon 30D (8.2mp) Kit with Ef-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS lens
Nikon D200 (10.2mp) Kit with As-S DX Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G If-Ed Lens
or anything more advanced...
those where the three choices I had on my list but it says anything better than that is also ok...and im not gonna lie...i am confused about the lenses
