Budget
$250-$350

Size

* Compact. One that would fit in a pocket

Features

How many megapixels will suffice for you?
6-8. I don't really print anything more than 4x6's but would like to crop

What optical zoom will you need?
Standard, 3x to 5x. More the better prolly

* How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)
I do want good pics, so I'd say 9

Do you care for manual controls?
No, not really. Easy controls. Not 100% sure how to use them but could learn.

General Usage

* What will you generally use the camera for?
Outdoor pics and alot of indoor pics of pets, friends (parties, bars) and at the race track.

Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
No, not really. Usually just 4x6s and saving them on my PC

*Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?
Yes

*Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?
Yes. at the racetrack. Nieces, nephews and pets never stay still either :)

Miscellaneous

Are there particular brands you like or hate?
Used to have a Sony DSC-P10, I liked it but it sucked at lowlight and was slow.

Are there particular models you already have in mind?
Fujifilm F40 FD and F31FD, Canon SD750, SD800 and SD850, Sony T100

(If applicable) Do you need any of the following special features?
Wide Angle would be nice
*Image Stabalization is a must

I want a simple to use camera that takes great quality photos in both indoors and at the racetrack, so it must be fast. A nice zoom would be a great, but not sure how necessary since I've only had 3x in the past.
