This thread was discussed last year and the links are no longer valid.

I've got an Optimus 5 M Pix camera in need of a 5 v DC at 3 amp charger.
The charger has Radio Shack # 16-3869
Model SYS1298-1505-W2
Part No. sys1298-1505-A

If I had a schematic and parts, I could probably fix this one.
If I had a 5v 3 amp DC converter, I could solder on the end.

I've ordered from RS and it's backorderd til the end of March and I really don't want to pay their $40 for it!!

It doesn't have to be a 3A power supply. Less would be fine. Tried some of the cheap WalMart power supplies? I suspect it'll work on anything from 4.5v upwards to 5v or maybe more but I wouldn't risk more.

Wally World has sells "Talkworks" chargers. None of them have any Volt Out marking visible on them. Googleing also shows no results on that product!
