This sounds like quite a camera for a small compact. 7mp with 7x zoom, and 10x zoom when using 3MP mode. It's small like the Kodak V610 and Pan TZ1 but sounds better. I wish it had a VF but everything else sounds good.

-non-protruding 7X internal optical zoom lens.
-Offers 10X-equivalent zoom without loss of picture quality (in 3.0-megapixel mode).
-Four blur reduction technologies with new CCD shift system
-MPEG video
-Silent lens motion enables optical zooming while recording movies in stereo sound.
-ISO 64-800. ISO 1600 (using BEST SHOT High Sensitivity mode)
-USB 2.0 high speed
-Available in March for $399.

This looks really promising. My only disappointment is the flash range. I can't wait until someone gets ahold of one to review it.

Oh yea definately! First time I'm see PASM from Casio in a while!

I kinda doubt the usefulness of the High ISO. :P But that lens is crazy!

As for lighting, you can buy those third party slave flash units that fire off when your built-in flash does.
