My 2 sanyo 2500 have been losing power about 6 months after i bought them. Now it would only last for 1 day whether i keep it in the camera or not. Is there anything I can do to ressurect it? It came with a sanyo quick charger. I have since bough energizer 2500 and are there any precautions I should take? Let's say after using up the batteries and not planning to use camera for a while, should i recharge them then keep in storage or only recharge them when i need it again?

Try buying a non-quick charger. Fast chargers can damage batteries by getting them too hot. The original batteries may be fried.

When charging the battery for the first time the device may indicate that charging is complete after just 10 or 15 minutes. This is a normal phenomenon with rechargeable batteries. Remove the digital battery from the device, reinsert it and repeat the charging procedure.
