Finally a semi-nice day.

Took some shots, below are the NEF's converted (most fixed for vingetting, contrast/brightness/sharpening and exposure, my god I'm a terrible photographer hehe)

Included are links to the basic jpg's right out of camera if you want exif and to know what the "base" looked like.

Pro's: Range and versitiliy. Nothing beats going from 27>(somewhere in 200's? Depends on focus range) in a second when you see something that looks interesting. Fast AF and good build quality. VR works very well. Can really stop it down alot and maintain clear shots.

Cons: Deffinite distortion, CA, vingetting even stoped down quite a bit, not as contrasty as cheap canon L glass.

Sounds like you have money to burn if L glass is cheap to you, let me send you my wish list invoice. :D

...not as contrasty as cheap canon L glass.

I don't quite understand what that means (although I am assuming sarcasm), but Nice shots none the less

The "Cheap" L glass Ie: the 17-40L the 70-200 L

The 18-200 is a 699>750$ lens, a few L's = or cheaper in price.
