I was thinking of using computer air dusters to blow the dust from the outside of my camera. I am wondering how well they are sealed, and if I would actually be blowing dust INTO the camera. Also, is there any harm in using these to dust off the inside as well?

NO. Compressed air has propellents that are not necessarily camera freindly, and may actually leave deposits on the glass filter, and the pressure is a tad higher than camera manufactures recommend. Stick with a manual bulb. The clue should be that no one, to this point, has released a compressed air cleaning kit for dSLR's.

The de-stat cleaning brushes also work very well.
