Mandrake,

Since we don't know which camera you are using...

This freebee might work:

... But for more versatility I have been using Photo Rescue. Unfortunately it's not free, but for $29 it does a great job of recovering photos from corrupt media. In fact I just rescued some shots yesterday from a random format error on a PQI card. Hey it happens once in a while.

Don't worry all is not lost. ;)

You might try another card reader. It may read the card that your camera cannot.

I have a Creative PC-CAM 880. I have tried these tools you send me the link of, but i think the computer does not recognise the camera when i put the memory card in my camera and connect it to the USB port. What are these card readers you are talking about ?

I tried to put my memory card in a card reader and i still cant have acces to the card. The softwares you indicated dont arrive to find the card either ?
Any ideas of what could be wrong with it ?
I really hope that i didnt loose all my photos ?

Thanks in advance,
