Jeff's Pictures

This year, I decided to skip the big San Francisco 4th of July show, and head south to Foster City, where I grew up. I'm glad I did. This year was the first time ever that I came home with many pictures that I was really happy with.

Like last year, I used my trusty Olympus E-10 camera with its remote shutter release cable. Of course, I brought along my tripod as well. All pictures were taken in full manual mode, with an aperture generally around F5.6 or so, and a shutter speed of usually 8 seconds. I experimented with both of those settings a bit during the show. The image quality was set to HQ.

The photos have not been retouched in any way -- they are straight out of the camera. You can probably spot a hot pixel or two in the image. You can also find Venus pretty easily.
