Jeff's Photos
Okay, so I can't actually win any prizes, but that doesn't mean I can't take fireworks pictures too!
My photos are taken with my Olympus E-10, with the Olympus remote shutter release cable and a tripod.
The only modification done to these photos was cropping. No sharpening or color adjustments were made.
Send feedback to Jeff if you have any questions or comments.
San Francisco Fourth of July Fireworks
Tonight was really the agony of defeat for me. I took over 50 pictures and got very few good ones. I set the aperture to f11 and the shutter speed between 4 and 8 seconds. As a result you can see the trails of the fireworks, but they get really cluttered sometimes. Also, smoke started to make things worse towards the end of the show.
The show, of course, was amazing. The folks at Pyro Spectaculars live up to their name. The massive crowds really enjoyed it!

| A beatiful sunset before the show. Probably the best picture of the night, unfortunately. | |
