It's that time of year again (at least in the US)! Spending time with friends and family... barbeques... and of course, fireworks! It must be the Fourth of July!
In years past we've had galleries of fireworks photos submitted by our readers. This year, we're taking it a step further -- we're having a contest!
The best fireworks photo (as selected by our readers) will win a $500 gift certification from Advandig!
The runner-up will get a $250 gift certificate!

The Rules: - Contest is open to residents of the United States, age 18 and over. - Maximum of 3 photos may be submitted per family - Photos must be straight out of the cameras. Only cropping is permitted - no color and sharpness adjustments in Photoshop, please. - Photos must be from a digital camera only. - Photos must be taken on or around the July 4th holiday. - Employees and immediate family of the Digital Camera Resource Page, dvspot, and Advandig, Ltd. are not eligible for prizes. - Prizes: Grand prize is a gift certificate towards merchandise at Advandig, Ltd. (www.advandig.com), valued at $500. The runner-up will receive an Advandig gift certificate valued at $250. - Voting: DCRP editors will initially narrow down the choices to a group of finalists. DCRP readers will then vote only for their favorite photo. Duplicate votes will not be accepted. - Deadline: Photos must be submitted by July 10, 2001 to be eligible. - No purchase necessary.
