The photos below are from a pre-production DSC-R1. Please visit the gallery from a production-level camera.
The photographs below were taken at
default settings, with the ISO fixed at 160, unless otherwise noted. The image
quality and resolution were at their highest levels.
Photos 1-2 were taken at the Ferry Building.
Photos 3-8 were taken in and around Chinatown.
Photos 9-10 were taken by the Golden Gate Bridge.
Photos 11-16 were taken at Stanford University.
Photo 17 is the usual night shot from Treasure Island.

thumbnail will display a reduced, 800 x 600 image.
Clicking on the link below that will show the
full-size (large!) image. Please do not judge
the photo quality from any image except for the
full-size image, as these smaller images were
recompressed when they were downsized.
I've noted any
