I took these on June 5 and 6, on a trip to Las Vegas. In addition to my photos, you'll enjoy (I hope) my commentary about the trip. All photos were taken in 1800x1200 Normal mode.

Bellagio

Wow, what a place. While the Four Seasons @ Mandalay Bay was nice, I'm staying at Bellagio next time for sure. The grounds are nice.. inside is amazing, especially the Conservatory. The fountain show at night is not-to-be-missed. We ate dinner at Olives which was very good as well! To top it off, we saw "O" from Cirque du Soleil which is indescribable! Just pay the $100 and see it! But book real early!

Above and right: These three show the fountain show at different times in the evening. The first show was to "Hey Big Spender", then the next was to some Lionel Ritchie song, and the third I wasn't sure. You must see this at least twice, especially at night!

Mandalay Bay / Four Seasons

We ended up staying one night at the Four Seasons, which is the top 5 floors of Mandalay Bay. While we had a pretty big checkin snafu (we requested a room with two beds since it was Mom and I, and we got one bed in our room. They had no other rooms so we ended up with a rollaway), and MB's wave pool was closed this week (which is why we chose this place in the first place!), the room was great, and our view was incredible.

Daytime, looking north up the Strip. From front to back, it's Luxor, Excalibur, NYNY, Monte Carlo, and Bellagio. On the other side of the street you can see the Tropicana, MHM Grand, the new Aladdin, and Paris. The Stratosphere Tower is at the back right. The blue tint is due to the windows.

The Venetian

This place wasn't even completely finished yet, but the casino is already open (surprise surprise), and most of the rooms were as well. The place is really elegant, just like the Bellagio. So far, I'd have to give the Bellagio the edge.. but I'll make my final judgement once it's fully open. I tried to take more indoor shots, but the camera always wanted to do slow shutter mode, and they just didn't come out.

	Somehow, the real Venice is better. But the interior of the lobby (left) is pretty amazing! They have these paintings all over the place!

Paris

Now this place looks cool. It opens this fall, and features a 50 story replica of the Eiffel Tower!

Odds & Ends

In case you were wondering, I didn't come back a winner. Mom broke even and I lost some money, but not everything I brought at least.
