DCRP Review: Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1

by Jeff Keller, DCRP Founder/Editor
Last Updated: February 7, 2008

You read our review of this camera, right? Please note that with the exception of photo #1, everything in the gallery was taken with my second DMC-LX1 (the first one broke).

The photographs below were taken at default settings with the ISO fixed at 80 and the aspect ratio set to 16:9, unless otherwise noted. The image quality and resolution were at their highest levels.

Photos 1-5 are from in and around Chinatown.

Photos 6-9 were taken at Stanford University.

Clicking on the thumbnail will display a reduced, 800 x 600 image. Clicking on the link below that will show the full-size (large!) image. Please do not judge the photo quality from any image except for the full-size image, as these smaller images were recompressed when they were downsized.

I've noted any special modes I used underneath the photo. You can click on "View EXIF data" to get additional information about each photo.
